Thanks to everyone who participated in our Million Doodle March...with only a month of planning we had an amazing response and made new friends throughout the United States, Canada and England.  And..more importantly, we were able to raise much need money for some organizations that do so much good and are in desperate need of help, especially during these tough economic times.  What started as our quest to have a doodle as First Dog turned into an international day of fundraising and doing good for others.  Our own day of service.  We have had many requests to have this as an annual organized event.  We'll see!!!

First of all, I want to thank Matilda First Dog and mom Sandy for all their efforts in Canada and we hope they raised money and awareness for National Service Dogs!
Our incredible new friends at really went all out and had a great response, with press coverage and raised over $3500 for their organization!! Thanks to Nancy Truax, Director of Public Relations for Oregon Dog Rescue, for all her hard work in making their march a success.  And of course to my pal, Zelda, and her mom Carol for passing on the information to them.
